Ingredients
1 lb ground pork
1 lb Owens® Pork Sausage
1/2 cup barbecue sauce, plus more for serving
2 Tbs barbecue seasoning
6 slices deli smoked Gouda cheese
6 Brookshire’s Bakery Hamburger Buns
18 slices bacon, cooked
onion slices, lettuce, tomato slices and pickle slices, for serving
mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup, for serving
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, pork sausage, barbecue sauce and seasoning. Evenly distribute the ingredients throughout the meat. Form into 6 equal-sized patties.
- Heat a grill to high. Grill the burgers for 8 to 10 minutes per side until cooked through. Place a slice of cheese on top of each patty to melt. Toast the buns.
- Top each burger patty with three slices of bacon. Build the burgers with desired toppings and favorite condiments.
